Supporting this vision, MWAN’s master plan outlines a comprehensive portfolio of investment opportunities across the Kingdom.
2026 Advisory Board – Experts who helped shape the agenda
Founding and Strategic Partner: MWAN

The National Center for Waste Management (MWAN), established by Council of Ministers Decree No. 457 (April 17, 2019) as the Regulator of the waste sector in Saudi Arabiawith a mandate that covers all waste streams (except nuclear and military wastes) and emphasizes the promotion of private investment. The New Waste Management Law (Law No. M/3 – August 11, 2021) further confirmed the role of MWAN in leading the national transformation of the waste sector based on circular economy principles.
